Support with sleep for newborns - My tips for you!
When babies leave the cozy comfort of the womb, it's normal for them to need a little help with sleep. Here are three cool tricks I've tried myself as a mom to help my newborn sleep better:
Swaddling: Wrapping your baby snugly in a blanket gives them a sense of security and comfort, as if they were back in the womb. There are also the popular swaddle sacks. Just find the right one and even if your koala doesn't seem to like swaddling, give it a chance. It can be incredibly helpful.
Gentle rocking and stroking: A little rocking and some gentle strokes can work wonders and mimic the soothing feeling of mom's movements and heartbeat.
White noise: The monotonous sound of a fan or a white noise machine creates a relaxing atmosphere and masks any distracting noises.
Remember, every nap in the crib is a small success, no matter how short. Celebrate each of these moments and give your little one the chance to practice and learn every day. And if you need more support, check out my newborn guide.
It helped me and could also offer you and your baby the path to peaceful nights.
